Day 3 we went to Chelsea and The High Line. The High Line is an old elevated train track which was been turned into a public walking garden. Some of the old train track is still there with flowers growing in-between them. It was a brilliant walk, we got to see lots of the city from up high.

There were food trucks along one part so we got some tacos from The Taco Truck with pineapple and beef which was delicious! The High Line also acted as a public art space, although we found the amazing graffiti the most inspiring.

Getting off the High Line we found Chelsea Market, unfortunately not hunger enough for all the amazing food and not rich enough for all the amazing jewellery and art in Artists & Fleas, but beautiful to walk around!

We hit a quick Starbucks and then walked around the beautiful streets of Chelsea, so posh and pretty!

On our way we also found a puppy shop, they were adorable. We also found Greenwich Letterpress which was a beautiful shop where I found a lovely NYC letterpress card to go along with my Paris one!

After all that we crazily stopped off at Times Square on our way to our apartment and dinner. Its as manic as you would think! The big screens are everywhere, and it’s not just one street, we turned off into other streets a few times and got confused with our bearings. The police are all on horses in Times Square, I’m imagining its so they can actually walk around, as cars, even bikes aren’t going anyway. Hard Rock Cafe has some lovely Beatles suits and guitars along with lots of sighed promotional pieces from other bands. Our finally stop was the Disney Store with Tangled lanterns going up the stairs were we finally ran our of energy and headed home. We finished the day with some lovely Thai food from Land!
